Drawing upon their shared friendship and experiences around often persistent addictions, nationally headlining in-demand comedians Mark Lundholm, Kurtis Matthews and Andy Gold tour together to share colorful stories about life, love, jail, rehab and recovery, and keep you laughing along the way. With over 71 years of continuous clean and sober between them, these seasoned performers have a lot to share and laugh about.

Mark Lundholm has performed in all 50 states and 10 foreign countries. From world-renowned musicians, heads of state, fortune 500 companies to rehabilitation centers and convicted felons, Mark has truly entertained on the world's stage.

He's appeared on Comedy Central, Showtime, A&E, CBS, and NBC. Mark wrote and performed his own one-man show off-Broadway in New York City reaching critical acclaim, and in his spare time created the now staple DVD series 'Humor in Treatment' and the Recovery Board Game.

Kurtis Matthews has toured nationally and internationally since 1984. That same year, he also embarked upon his own journey of recovery from alcoholism and drug abuse after an automobile accident resulted in his second DUI and jail time. Since 84, he's starred in the BBCs 'Find me the Funny' ,A and E , VH1 and many other TV and radio shows. Currently, he performs in multiple anonymous recovery conventions, rehabs and private fundraisers each year. In 1999, he founded the San Francisco Comedy College (SFCC), which has become the most attended stand-up comedy school in America.  

Andy Gold is a favorite at treatment centers and in recovery groups, Andy has appeared in festivals and competitions all over the country, including the Boston Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival, Rocky Mountain Laugh Off, San Diego Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Ashville Off, Trial by Laughter Comedy Festival, Golden Spike Comedy Festival and Idaho Laugh Fest. Andy draws humor from all parts of his life, especially from the nearly 10 years he spent in active heroin addiction. Andy began his comedy career in Salt Lake City just 6 months after a (temporally) fatal overdose prompted Andy's family to intervene and convince him to go to treatment. 

The Addicts Comedy Tour has appeared at comedy clubs and theatres in Columbus, Omaha, Dayton, Des Moines, Syracuse, Albany, Hartford, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Tampa, West Palm, Denver, Kansas City, Brea, Phoenix ,Tucson, Salt Lake City, Louisville, Portland, Richland, Boise, Denver, Colorado Springs, Nashville, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Palm Springs, San Jose, Harrisburg, Stockton, Santa Cruz, Vallejo, Sacramento and numerous private fundraisers, and anonymous type conventions throughout America.

If you are interested in having us at your event, we are happy to work with you! We work facilities, banquet halls, private parties and anonymous type conventions. 

Here are the ways to have us at your event:

1. Hire us directly and keep the profit: Our fee is $2.5 to 8K dependent upon the tour personnel configuration, night of the week and travel distance.

2. Provide us a rental hall or club that holds at least 200: We'll produce and promote a show in your community and keep the profit.

3. Invite us to a recovery event with a partial payment and we'll reduce cost to you with a portion of the ticket sales.

4. Invite us to your place by piggy backing one of our public appearance booked near your (Rehab, Jail, Halfway House, Meeting) facility. Possibly we can stop by if we have time for free.

* Service (ESH) work for an anonymous group or jail/prison is free if we are near your town, invited and have time. If you are a for profit or non-profit facility, we are happy to do business with you. Comedy perfromance or workshops at your facility are time intensive and there may be cost associated. Be clear with your requests for service or bookings!
